Keynote Speakers 1: Prof.Dr. Sudip Misra

Sudip Misra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Carleton University, in Ottawa, Canada. His current research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things. Dr. Misra is the author of over 260 scholarly research papers. He has won nine research paper awards in different conferences. He was awarded the IEEE ComSoc Asia Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award at IEEE GLOBECOM 2012, Anaheim, California, USA. He was also the recipient of several academic awards and fellowships such as the Faculty Excellence Award (IIT Kharagpur), Young Scientist Award (National Academy of Sciences, India), Young Systems Scientist Award (Systems Society of India), Young Engineers Award (Institution of Engineers, India), (Canadian) Governor General’s Academic Gold Medal at Carleton University, the University Outstanding Graduate Student Award in the Doctoral level at Carleton University and the National Academy of Sciences, India – Swarna Jayanti Puraskar (Golden Jubilee Award). He was awarded the Canadian Government’s prestigious NSERC Post Doctoral Fellowship and the Humboldt Research Fellowship in Germany. Dr. Misra is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems (IJCNDS), Inderscience, Switzerland. He has also been serving as the Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, Telecommunication Systems Journal (Springer), Security and Communication Networks Journal (Wiley), International Journal of Communication Systems (Wiley), and the EURASIP Journal of Wireless Communications and Networking. He is also an Editor/Editorial Board Member/Editorial Review Board Member of the IET Networks and IET Wireless Sensor Systems. Dr. Misra has 10 books published by Springer, Wiley, and World Scientific. He was invited to chair several international conference/workshop programs and sessions. Dr. Misra was also invited to deliver keynote/invited lectures in over 30 international conferences in USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. He is the Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India (NASI).


Keynote Speakers 2: Prof.Dr, Wen-Tsai SUNG

Electrical Engineering, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taiwan

Wen-Tsai Sung is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering in National Central University. His research interests encompass various kinds of IoT, Wireless Sensors Network, Data Fusion, System Biology, System on Chip, Computer-Aided Design for Learning, Bioinformatics, and Biomedical Engineering. He has published more than 40 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He has chaired various international conferences, workshops and invited sessions, and he has been a member of numerous international program committees of workshops and conferences in the area of Electrical Engineering


Keynote Speakers3:  Prof.Dr, Xun-Wei ZHOU

Beijing Key Laboratory of Information Service Engineering, Beijing Union University, Beijing, China

Professor Zhou received B.E. from Department of Automation, Beijing University of Technology in 1982. He was lecturer in Department of Computer Science, Beijing University of Technology from 1987 to 1992, associate professor in College of Information, Beijing Union University from 1992 to 2005, professor in Institute of Information Technology, College of Information, Beijing Union University from 2005 to 2012, professor emeritus in Beijing key laboratory of information service engineering, Beijing Union University since 2012. He construct mutually-inversistic logic and apply it to the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, such as automatic theorem proving, logic programming, planning and scheduling, expert systems, semantic network, program verification, natural language understanding, hardware verification, machine learning, data mining, uncertainty reasoning, program refinement, many-valued computer, etc. He published about 80 papers, authored 4 monographs on them. He is a senior member of China Computer Federation, a member of Technical Committee of Artificial Intelligence Theory of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, a director of Beijing Logical Association.


Keynote Speakers4: Prof Wen-Jun ZHNAG

University of Saskatchewan of Canada

Dr. Zhang is a full professor at the University of Saskatchewan of Canada. He is a special professor at Shanghai University of China. Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D from Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) in 1994 on the application of computer and information technology to improve design intelligence. Since then, Dr. Zhang’s research has grown, surrounding artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and design. Dr. Zhang pioneered resilient robotics and soft robotics along with their applications to biomedicine and manufacture. He also pioneered the concept of the integrated mind and body rehabilitation approach to post-stroke patients.

Dr. Zhang has published over 400 refereed technical publications, among which 250 papers appear in refereed journals or magazines. His h-index 45 (GS). Dr. Zhang currently holds 8 patents. Dr. Zhang has supervised or co-supervised 32 PhD, 58 Master (thesis), 10 Master (non-thesis), and 37 Post-Doctoral Students or Visiting Scholars. Among the PhD students, 6 received NSERC PDF awards and 7 received faculty positions in the post-secondary institutions in USA, Canada, Hong Kong (China). This achievement has been recognized by both the academia (2012 Distinguished Graduate Supervisor Award by University of Saskatchewan) and the professional realm (2014 Educator of the Year by Saskatoon Engineer Society, Canada).

Dr. Zhang has been appointed as technical editor/associate editor for three reputed journals, including IEEE Transaction on Mechatronics (2009 to 2015), IEEE SMC – system (present), IEEE System journal (present). He also served as Chair of Division of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan from 2007 to 2011), growing the division from 24 faculty members to 64 and 20 graduate students to over 60 (half of them on PhD study).

Dr. Zhang is a fellow of Canadian Academia of Engineering (CAE), a fellow of ASME, senior member of IEEE, and senior member of SME. Dr. Zhang was one of the most highly cited researchers by Elsevier China in 2015, 2016, 2017, respectively.


Keynote Speakers 5: Dr. Javid Taheri

Karlstad University,Sweden


Javid Taheri received his BSc and MSc of Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in the field of Mobile Computing from the School of Information Technologies at the University of Sydney, Australia. Since 2006, he has been actively working in several fields, including: networking, optimization, parallel/distributed computing, and cloud computing. He also holds several cloud/networking related industrial certification from VMware (VCP-DCV, VCP-DT, and VCP-Cloud), Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft, etc. He is currently working as an Associate Professor and a Docent at the Department of Computer Science in Karlstad University, Sweden. His major areas of interest are (1) profiling, modelling and optimization techniques for cloud infrastructures, software defined networking and network function virtualization. He has published over 130 papers/articles and is recipient of various awards such as Wilkes Award from OXFORD ACADEMIC in 2018.


Keynote Speakers 6: Dr. ,Chitra A. Dhawale

MCA, S.G.B.Amravati University,India


Dr.Chitra Dhawale is a Professor in the Department of Computer Application in S.G.B.Amravati University. Her research interest includes image and video processing, multi-biometric, cloud security. She is guiding research scholars in computer science from S.G.B.Amravati and R.T.M.Nagpur University. She has published more than 60 research papers in reputed international journals and IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, ACM conferences proceedings and 04 book chapters in IGI Global Publications. She worked on the organizing and program committees of various National and International Conferences and also chaired various international conferences, workshops and invited sessions. She has been reviewing books from various prestigious publication and also reviewer for international journals.


Keynote Speakers 7: Dr. , Victor Chang

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Suzhou, China


Prof. Victor Chang is an Associate Professor (Reader), Director of Ph.D. (June 2016 – May 2018) and Director of MRes at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China, since June 2016. He is also a very active and contributing key member at Research Institute of Big Data Analytics (RIBDA), XJTLU. He's an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Liverpool and Visiting Researcher at the University of Southampton, UK. Previously he worked as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, UK, for 3.5 years. Within 4 years, he completed Ph.D. (CS, Southampton) and PGCert (Higher Education, Fellow, Greenwich) while working for several projects at the same time. Before becoming an academic, he has achieved 97% on average in 27 IT certifications. He won a European Award on Cloud Migration in 2011, IEEE Outstanding Service Award in 2015, best papers in 2012 and 2015, the 2016 European award: Best Project in Research, 2016 SEID Excellent Scholar, Suzhou, China, Outstanding Young Scientist award in 2017, 2017 special award on Data Science, 2017 and 2018 INSTICC Service Awards and numerous awards since 2012. He is a visiting scholar/Ph.D. examiner at several universities, an Editor-in-Chief of IJOCI & OJBD journals, Editor of FGCS, Associate Editor of TII, founding chair of two international workshops and founding Conference Chair of IoTBDS www.iotbd.org and COMPLEXIS www.complexis.org since Year 2016, and also FEMIB femib.scitevents.org since 2018. He was involved in different projects worth more than £12.5 million in Europe and Asia. He has published 3 books as sole authors and the editor of 2 books on Cloud Computing and related technologies. He gave 16 keynotes at international conferences. He is widely regarded as one of the most active and influential young scientist and expert in IoT/Data Science/Cloud/security/AI/IS, as he has experience to develop 10 different services for multiple disciplines. He is founding conference chair for IoTBDS, COMPLEXIS and FEMIB to build up and foster active research communities globally.
